Yes! All ARX machines can be programmed and controlled autonomously by the software so you can perform workouts alone and without the need of a trainer or partner.

Typically, most users use ARX 1 to 2 times per week, but ARX can be used more or less frequently. Usage is entirely dependent on your goals. ARX technology can be used in any rep/set scheme, intensity, or quantity to reach a user's goals just like traditional methods of resistance exercise like weights.

In 2021, ACE (Amercian Council on Exercise) published an independent study performed by Western Colorado University that compared ARX to moderate-intensity weight training.  The results of the study showed that the ARX group achieved 2.5 times greater fat loss, 2 times greater muscle mass gain, 3.5 times greater cardiovascular fitness improvement, and 90% greater strength gains than the weight lifting group over the course of 12 weeks and did so by spending 72% less time exercising.

If you want to build stronger, bigger muscles, there are three elements you need to be aware of at the muscle level: mechanical tension, muscle damage, and metabolic stress.

These stimuli can all be applied through the use of weights, but ARX’s adaptive resistance allows you to apply all three elements in greater magnitudes, more safely, and more quickly than with any weight. By maximizing these three elements, whether you want to add more muscle mass or are just looking to build a more aesthetic physique, ARX is in a class of its own because of its unique ability to optimize all three of these elements.

With ARX, any resistance exercise program is possible. This includes standard reps, negative-only, positive-only, static (isometric) protocols, time-under-tension sets, partial reps (limited range of motion), and more. 

You can also adjust rep speeds, set times, pause times, and rest times to meet the needs of your programming.

The drive system and load cell are integrated with the motor controller system, both of which communicate with the software in a feedback loop. Numerous user data points like force output, range of motion, speed, percentage of fatigue, concentric and eccentric peak forces, and more are all tracked and displayed by the software. Additionally, this data is stored in the ARX cloud, where useful and motivational visual feedback of the data is displayed in the user's online dashboard.
